Stuffed Italian Peppers

Stuffed peppers or stuffed hot peppers are a traditional Italian delicacy from Calabria.

They are prepared from round peppers harvested at full ripeness. After washing and deseeding, the peppers are boiled for several minutes at a high temperature and then immersed in a mixture of vinegar, wine, and spices. Subsequently, they are filled with eggplant, tuna, and capers. Finally, the vegetables are sealed in a glass jar filled with extra virgin olive oil.

The stuffed peppers are ready for immediate serving and are ideal as an appetizer, side dish, or as a special ingredient in salads and creative dishes.

Ingredients: hot chili peppers, sunflower oil, chili pepper filling (eggplant, tuna, capers), wine vinegar, salt, acidity regulator: E 330, antioxidant: E 300.
