Italian Cuttlefish Ink Risotto (Risotto al nero di Seppia)

Ideariso ready-made risotto mixes are created by combining selected quality ingredients with the Gigante Vercelli variety, which is part of Ideariso's Presidio Slow Food* project.

Gigante Vercelli rice is an ancient variety of rice, ideal for preparing delicate and creamy risottos.

This mixture is packed in an aluminium-lined cardboard tube with a controlled atmosphere to guarantee unique freshness and quality.

Finally, the characteristic that most distinguishes Ideariso risotto mixes is the cooking time: in 12–14 minutes, you will get three to four portions of creamy risotto with an excellent taste.

Preparation: Pour the "risotto mix" into a pan with a little heated oil and sauté for 1 minute, stirring constantly over a medium heat. Stir in half a glass of water or white wine and let the liquid evaporate. Gradually add 800-1000 ml of hot water and let it evaporate completely (12-14 min). Finally, add a knob of butter and let it melt.

Ingredients: Gigante Vercelli rice (Presidio Slow Food) 92%, vegetable broth* (salt, potato starch and maltodextrins, yeast extract, carrot and onion extracts, sunflower oil, basil, parsley and rosemary extracts), cod*, cuttlefish ink* 1.5%, onion*, salt, garlic*.(*)Dehydrated products.
