Italian Heather honey - 250g

Brezzo honeys are natural products, they are not flavored, they do not contain aromas and they are honeys produced by bees that visit single flower fields.

The taste of honey is influenced by the particular flower of the plant.

The heather is a typical element of the evergreen Mediterranean scrub. Its name comes from the Greek Erikein, to break, an allusion to the fragility of its branches. It is a unique honey, difficult to collect because it blooms relatively early, at a time when bee colonies are not always sufficiently developed to be able to use the nectar and thus produce honey. Aroma: fresh, caramel, reminiscent of boiled sugar. Taste: Medium sweet with a very light hint of bitterness, caramel, licorice.

Pairing

Suitable with spicy cheeses and served raw with pork.

Excellent in the preparation of pickles and as table honey.

Color: More or less dark amber in the liquid state, brown with orange tones in the crystallized state
