Italian Clover Honey, 500 g (Miele di Trifoglio)

Brezzo honeys are natural products, they are not flavored, they do not contain aromas and they are honeys produced by bees that visit single flower fields. The taste of honey is influenced by the particular flower of the plant.

Clover honey is harvested in the summer season. The most suitable area for collecting this type of honey is the Padan Plain.

The color of honey is very light and ranges from almost white to straw yellow.

The special feature of clover honey is its very mild, vague vegetable aroma and taste.

It has a fresh impression in the mouth and is very reminiscent of milk candies.

It is precisely for these subtle, unobtrusive properties that it is a popular table honey and suitable for sweetening as a sugar substitute.

Excellent as table honey and in combination with mature and spicy cheeses that have a strong taste and medium maturity, e.g. taleggio cheese. Also suitable for sour yogurts

Pure clover honey is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain due to the thinning of single crop meadows and for this reason this honey is becoming rather rare and prized.
