The meat is first cut into thin strips, lightly seasoned, and then cold-smoked for half a day. Subsequently, it is dried for several days at a low temperature.

Deer Superior Jerky - Smoked Dried Deer Meat
This dried venison meat is characterized by a wild taste with a lightly smoked hint.
The raw material used is venison leg, which is hand-cut into thin slices, seasoned with spices, and smoked with beech wood for 24 hours.
Finally, they are left to mature slowly for 3 to 4 days to guarantee their tenderness and flavor.
For 40g of dried meat, 135g of fresh meat is needed.
