Blue salt from Persia

Blue salt of Persia is a natural rock salt that comes from thousands of years of salt mines in Iran. It is very rare and its special colour is due to sylvin, a variant of the sodium crystal lattice.

It has an extremely salty but not persistent taste and leaves a pleasant spicy taste in the mouth.

It is ideal freshly ground as table salt.

It goes well with everything and is often used in grains when decorating dishes.
