Italian mint honey

Peppermint honey has a fresh taste and an intense aroma.
The bees remain in contact with the flowers throughout the flowering period (approximately one month), which influences the appearance and aroma of the honey produced.

In its liquid state, the honey takes on an almost reddish hue, while in its solid state its colour lightens from white to beige.

The crystallisation process takes place several months after harvesting and takes the form of fine to medium-sized crystals.

Thanks to the mint, the smell of the honey is very intense, as is the taste, slightly sweet to sour.

Due to its high vitamin C content, this honey has exceptional soothing and regenerating properties.
It is a very good source of energy, suitable for fatigue, for the mental and physical well-being of the elderly, children, athletes and convalescents. Generally this honey is recommended for upset or stress, a good helper for better digestion. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it improves the appearance of the skin, gives it more tone and reduces inflammation, thus promoting healing.
